Dunwoody ends season with 41-0 shutout victory over winless Douglass

The Dunwoody Wildcats seniors went out on a high note when their last game as high school players ended with the scoreboard reading 41-0 in Dunwoody's favor. Breon Isaac set the tone with his touchdown, and from then on, it was all Dunwoody, both offensively and defensively. The 41-0 defeat of Douglass is a good way to finish for the Wildcats, considering that it wasn't out of the question that Dunwoody wouldn't win a game this year, after starting 0-3. The 6-1 win streak the last 7 weeks for Dunwoody has helped them finish with a 6-4 record, but unfortunately will not land them in the playoffs for this year.

Dunwoody will end it's regular season this Saturday with match-up with Douglass

Dunwoody Wildcats will travel to Adams Stadium to face the Douglass Atlanta Astros, a team which has anot won a game this year. The Wildcats hope that streak will still be in place after this Saturdays' game.

Breon Isaac started the Wildcats' rout with a touchdown run in the first quarter. After that, it was all Dunwoody as they continued to score on offense and keep Chamblee's defense off the field. The Wildcats face Douglass at Adams Stadium next Friday, the last game of the regular season.

Dunwoody stuns Marist in homecoming game, 20-0

It was a happy homecoming for the students at Dunwoody High School and the fans at North Dekalb Stadium, as the Wildcats not only stunned the Marist War Eagles, but shut them out in a blowout, 20-0. After a very defensive first half, Dunwoody and Marist went into halftime tied at zero. The second half proved to be different for the Wildcats. Not long into the third quarter, Dunwoody quarterback Justin King threw a touchdown pass to tight end Aaron Easterling, who made a great catch and managed to get his feet down just inches from the back of the endzone. This put the Wildcats up 7-0. In the 4th quarter, running back Dewayne Brown took a handoff up the middle, broke a couple tackles, made a nice cut, and rumbled 37 yards for another touchdown, making the lead 14-0 in favor of the Cats. With less than 5 minutes left in the game, and Marist trying to avoid a shutout, Chris Hale intercepted a pass and ran it back 59 yards to add to the lead and ensure the shutout. Dunwoody wins 20-0.
